imc and KMT agree on strategic cooperation

Stuttgart, Germany, 20 June 2017 – During the 18th Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart, measurement technology manufacturer imc Meßsysteme GmbH and telemetry specialist KMT Kraus Messtechnik GmbH announced a strategic cooperation. With the aim of offering a comprehensive telemetry range, imc includes KMT products in their product portfolio.

imc already delivers CAEMAX telemetry systems, which have been integrated since 2015. CAEMAX systems are ideal for multi-channel, universal measurements on vehicles and wind turbines. The KMT products complement the range of measurement solutions for single-channel telemetry systems and industrial applications but also offer multi-channel, high-speed telemetry systems for the railway and aviation industries.

Users benefit from a holistic solution as the KMT telemetry systems can be integrated directly into the imc measurement system. This way, all the data in the imc system is acquired synchronized: analogue sensors, fieldbus information, GPS coordinates and telemetry data.

KMT products cover a broad telemetry spectrum: from single-channel rotary telemetry systems to multi-channel modular telemetry systems and from wheel and rotor telemetry units to point-to-point telemetry. KMT products are typically used in the railway sector, aviation industry and industrial environments, e.g. on shafts of machinery and equipment.
